Ryan Pajak, a senior at Ringgold High in Pennsylvania, placed second in the 5-kilometer boys championship race in 15:12.1 at the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships at Balboa Park's Morley Field in San Diego, Calif. Pajak elevated from 12th place last season in 15:22.9, contributing to the first 1-2 finish by Pennsylvania male athletes in meet history along with Drew Griffith of Butler.
